Abdul Razzaq served notice for criticising Hafeez

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Tuesday issued a show-cause notice to all-rounder Abdul Razzaq for criticising the Pakistan team’s captain M Hafeez. PCB spokesman Nadeem Sarwar said Razzaq had breached the player's code of conduct, which forbade players from speaking to the media without prior permission from the board. “Razzaq has violated the code of conduct and we have served him a show-cause notice. He has seven days to answer the notice."Earlier, Razzaq lashed out against Hafeez for dropping him from the team in the semi-final of the World Twenty20 Cup. Speaking to reporters upon his return from Sri Lanka, Razzaq said that he was very disappointed after being left out adding that he felt helpless when he saw Pakistan losing. He was replaced by left-arm pacer Sohail Tanveer in the match that Pakistan lost by 16 runs, allowing Sri Lanka to enter the final of the ICC event. “It was Hafeez’s decision not to pick me for the semi-final, not anyone else’s,” Razzaq said. The all-rounder made his debut for Pakistan in 1996 and has played 265 one-day internationals, 46 Tests and 30 T20 internationals for his
